SusCon is a sustainable construction training and research centre that has been built at The Bridge in Dartford. Pioneering a new approach to sustainable construction learning that is designed to help people meet the challenges of a greener future; SusCon offers accredited courses for those already working in the construction industry as well as for those who are seeking new opportunities.
The training covers all those involved in the built environment from the local community through to the building trades and professions. The SusCon building reflects this pioneering approach. It is one of the most sustainable education facilities in the UK and a learning tool in its own right.
We work closely with employers to test and accredit new courses. This means that when you enrol with SusCon, you can be confident that your course will reflect the latest developments not only sustainable construction but with leading edge technology.
With sustainable construction in mind, from September 2012 SusCon will also be running full time diplomas in:
- Sustainable Construction
- Insulation and Building Techniques
- Electronic and emergency Systems
- Together with future plans of an electric vehicle training programme
SusCon are also very aware that businesses must comply with all health and safety legislation for the paramount safety of their employees and consideration for tender. To assist in compliance, SusCon Training Centre also offer a full package of health and safety training and certification including PASMA, IPAF, NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS, CDM regs and many more.
SusCon is also an accredited CSCS centre open five days a week and until 5.15pm Mon – Fri with a relaxed am or pm exam booking time to fit in with your busy workload.
