Music Performance and Music Technology

About

Miskin Music offers you an amazing opportunity to train in a professional environment as either a Musician or Producer/Sound Technician, on one of our Music Performance or Music Technology courses.

You will get to work alongside a diverse range of experienced industry practitioners, in creating public performances and/or recordings. These will mirror the demands of the exciting and dynamic music industry.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of contexts. As well as your own performances, you will work alongside The Miskin Theatre, Dance, and Media Companies, which will provide you a wider appreciation of the demands of the creative arts industry.

As a Music Technician you will gain an insight into sound design, producing and composing for the moving image, live sound techniques, and audio production and recording skills.

All of our productions embed the business and management principals, which are essential for delivering and creating successful music events and/or recordings.

Our courses aim to provide you with the analytical, creative, and technical skills that are required to progress on to Higher Education or to develop a fulfilling career as a Musician or Music Technician.
