Half the cost of University and Just as Good
North West Kent College offers a range of Higher Education (HE) undergraduate programmes at half the cost of university. From as little as £4,995 students can gain a Foundation Degree (FdA/FdSc) affiliated by the University of Greenwich, or a Higher National Diploma/Certificate (HND/C) by Edexcel and improve their chances of employability.
It’s possible to both live in the comfort of your own home and work while studying on many of our HE programmes, which can cut the cost of your education down considerably. The Colleges’ qualifications involve close links to industry, which helps to ensure that you gain valuable experience and get the most of out of your education. After two years at the College, students have the opportunity to top-up their qualification to a Degree or go straight into the industry.

Benefits
The College has a brand new Higher Education Block at the Dartford campus, which has been designed to accommodate both Access to Higher Education and Higher Education students. The HE Block accommodates a chill-out/study area, classrooms and the Higher Education admin staff.
Due to our link with the University of Greenwich, Higher Education students also have access to the University library resources and their Students’ Union (SUUG).
Finance
Students on our HE programmes are entitled to the same funding that is available to university students, which includes both grants and loans from the Student Loans Company.
How to Apply
To apply for our Higher Education programmes, you will need to apply though UCAS, unless you are applying for Performing Arts, Public Services or Travel and Tourism, then you will need to complete the Higher Education Application Form.
